I love the beautiful art forms that you can find in all kinds of calligraphy. There is something that is both strong and yet controlled and elegant in most forms. It is a bit different when you look at Zen calligraphy, but the beauty and strength are still evident, I think. I may not be able to draw a lovely landscape or an accurate portrait, but I think I can get pretty proficient at this with a lot of practice. You just keep copying and copying until you get it right. Anyway, it makes a great hobby for nights when I am home with nothing to do.
