My big brother Paul is a huge influence on my life, just as he has always been.  He is about ten years older than I am so I always looked up to him like he was just about the most amazing guy on earth, and he has always been totally my idol.  I actually started with the guitar since he does it, and then I kind of fell in love with the beauty of it on my own.  Paul is giving me tips for playing the acoustic guitar, and he is pretty smart about this stuff.  He helped me out with scales and general practice ideas that have allowed me to progress quickly.
