My daughter just called. They live in a house that sits a little down from the road, so they have to go uphill to get out of the driveway. Well of course she managed to go off the edge of the driveway and get stuck in the mud from all the rain they have been having. She wanted my advice on what to do. I thought she had breakdown insurance, so I told her to call them. Then she told me they hadn’t renewed the policy because it cost too much. When I explained to her that the tow truck she would now have to call would probably cost her more than that renewal would have been, I think she regretted deciding they could do without the coverage.
