Sold My House At Just the Right Time

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

About a month ago, the bank was about to repossess my house in Cambridge and I was very upset. I could not afford the mortgage and I had been trying to sell the house for almost a year. Finally, I found someone to buy the house right before it got repossessed. I was so relieved that I was able to Sell my house for cash before the bank took it away from me. With the extra money, I found a nice place to rent in the same town. It is not quite like my old house, but it is good enough for now.

My family has worked together as real estate agents for several years. It is a family business, and we all have a lot of passion for what we do. Lately, however, business has been tough. As everyone knows, the housing market has been slow for buyers, so we can use all the new clients that we can find. I have been interested in learning more about different Real Estate Internet marketing. We already use billboards and pamphlets, but I think that we need to do more online marketing. If we do it all correctly, then our real estate site will be easy to find on a web search.

Reading, Ma Home Office

Monday, November 8th, 2010

I’m a Psychiatrist in the Reading, Ma area.  Currently, I work with a group of Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Social Workers.  However, I would really like to open my own practice.  In addition to being a Psychiatrist I am also a mother of three small children.  Having my own practice would give me a lot of flexibility.  I ran into an old friend, Sharon Seabury who in addition to being a mother is an entrepreneur.  She is the founder of Twin Pinnacle Realty.  We were discussing my desire to open my own practice when Sharon told me about a great home that she had just listed.  The home in Reading, Ma has office space with a separate entrance.  Not only would I be able to have my own practice but I could work from home as well.  I’m very excited about seeing this home.  However, Sharon told me that if this home does not work out she has numerous Reading Ma New Homes for Sale Listings.  Sharon is just as enthusiastic about my new undertaking as I am.  I’m very excited to find a home and an office!

I Saw the Rent House Back Idea on the News

Monday, November 8th, 2010

To Rent House Back after selling it sounded weird to me when I first heard of it. Then I saw on the news where many people are doing this. There is some logic in the idea. Whoever came up with this concept came up with a great idea. I think this will help people who need to have the money, not have to go bankrupt. So far, I have met about six people who have done this and they all seem to be happy with their decision. What I heard on the news is that is takes about four or five weeks for the process to happen.

Deal Breakers When Buying a Home

Sunday, October 31st, 2010

I am buying a home in Somerville, Ma.  I’ve already viewed the home, negotiated and price and set a closing date.  However, the home inspector has found termites in the home.  I’m not sure if this is a deal breaker or not.  I’ve been working with Sharon Seabury of Somerville Ma Real Estate.  She helped me find the perfect home and negotiate an excellent deal.  I’m in love with this home but I’ve heard that even if the termites are removed they could come back again.  I’m meeting with Sharon today to go over the home inspection and determine my options.  Hopefully I haven’t run into a major road block!

Misspelled Sale

Friday, October 29th, 2010

After months of not selling my friend’s dream home,  the real-estate agent informed them of such failure. So they decided to sell their own property. What they did was to place advertisements in the local newspaper. Aside from that they also painted, “Property for Sale” which they posted outside their house. However, in the evening my friend’s in laws came for a visit and they came in laughing. When asked why they were laughing, they told my friend to look outside. To my friend’s surprise, she went outside and read the sign, it says “For Sale By Ower.” Most likely the truth for most people.

Helping Pay College Tuition

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

My wife and I have been struggling to pay our mortgage payments for the past few months because we are now trying to help our son and daughter pay for their college classes. We are currently talking to a realtor that will help us to sell and rent back my property. This will allow  us to rent the house we currently live in while paying rent, which would be cheaper than our current mortgage. Once we have our financial situation settled, we will be allowed to buy our house back, and perhaps even qualify for lower rates, so our payments will be lower.

Traveling Alone

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

Traveling alone can be both enjoyable and dangerous. It can be enjoyable for some who like privacy and solitude. Dangerous because traveling alone can invite temptations. Thus, be not deceived by the places you travel to. Learn the basic of self- defense. Aside from that, prior to your travel, do a research of your destination, so that you can expect what kind of attitude the natives have in that particular place. Also it is also safe to choose places that are accessible in case of emergency. Avoid places that are risky. It does not mean that because you are staying in an area of fine homes you are already safe. Learn from your gut feel. Walk with confidence because you obviously project fear if you don’t.
