Need To Find A Spanish Course

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

I have been looking for a job for a while now, and while I know that the kind of work that I do is pretty generic and that there are a lot of people out there looking for the exact same kind of work, I’ve been wondering what all I could do to improve my chances of getting work and getting the attention of more employers.  I think I figured it out!  If I become bi-lingual, well that will give me a skill that is really needed these days.  Now all I need is some kind of good Spanish course that I could do while I’m at home, so that I can learn the language well enough.

Per diem nursing jobs

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

The moment healthcare professionals hear about the prospect of becoming a Per diem nurse, they get worried about job security. To a certain extent, this worry is valid, because as a Per diem nurse, you don’t normally work with one clinic as such. A Per Diem Nursing Job would require you to spend some hours in a week in each hospital you have enrolled to work with. In simple terms, a Per diem nurse would be on a contract basis with the healthcare setting and obviously, this would mean that the benefits for staff provided by the healthcare setting may no longer be valid anyways.

Capture And Freeze The Time

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

I believed in the saying that photographer can capture and freeze the time. This is true especially if you are using high ends camera. In the field of forensic science, the use of camera has become essential because taking pictures is important for the purpose of investigation and prosecution. Photographers need to capture everything in details in order to be considered as effective evidences. Each day in the life of the crime scene investigation, crime scene photography will provide new evidences, a powerful weapon that will be used in war against crime. These pictures can really make a difference in every courtroom.

Exmormon Busted Drinking Coffee

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

My exmormon dad left the church many years ago, but we didn’t realize what changes he had made in his life because he kept it a secret. When he was going to be interviewed for a newspaper, my mom thought it would be fun to show up and surprise him, asking the waitress if she could bring his meal to the table. She saw two cups of coffee and thought, “The other guy must be having two.” My exmormon dad looked horrified to see that she had discovered his little secret. I thought it was silly he didn’t feel he could tell her something like that.

I am so Grateful for the Owner

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

I am so excited that I found this site! It was easy to figure out what I wanted to buy, after I saw the huge selections! I needed to get thank you gifts for all of the wonderful people that voted for me. I did not want them to think I did not notice that if it was not for them, I would not have won the personality contest at work. I was hoping to win top in production, but that went to Diane. Oh well, I am happy with this honor and now I have all these wonderful pencils to give to everyone. This is so great!

Death Does Not Have to be Sad

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

I was blessed to have a fantastic grandmother. She has always been a great influence in my life. Unfortunately, we lost her due to heart complications. My grandmother always told me that she did not want any tears in the event of her death, because it was a happy time. She was going home to be with her lord and she would be waiting for us when we got there. I wanted to honor her wishes because I loved her so much. I chose to do the eulogy, because I was the closest person to her. I did not want it to be a sad occasion, but upbeat like she wanted.

Do Grandparents have Rights?

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I was talking to a friend yesterday and her son is getting a divorce.  That situation is common and sad, but she wanted to know what rights she had as a grandparent of the sweetest little girl who is her only granddaughter.  I am much more computer savvy than, we’ll call her Maude, so I went searching to see if there was such a thing as grandparents rights.  I found some really useful custody information online including a Grandparents Right Manual which cleared a few things up for both me and Maude.  The short answer to the grandparents question is “Yes.  But not many.”  It seems that unless the grandparent has been acting as a parent (meaning they live with them), grandparents are treated almost like a stranger as least as it pertains to custody rights.  Luckily, Maude has a good relationship with her future ex-daughter in law and will still be able to see her granddaughter on the weekends, but it’s something for the rest of us to keep in mind.  Fortunately, grandparents definitely have fair visitation rights!
