When my husband suggested that we purchase a large flatbed scanner, I was hesitant because we always used the services of the large flatbed scanner service at our local office supply store which I thought was good enough. I have to say, that the cost was starting to add up though. My husband told me how versatile they were, because  they not only print, they are also able to scan and e-mail documents as well as transfer our home slides as well. We did make the purchase at a much owner price than I had anticipated. This piece of equipment replaced our old printer, and was indeed worth the price.
