A weight loss diet is a great way of losing weight very quickly and permanently. Calorie counting and reduced calorie intake helps keep fat off. Officially a man needs around 2500 calories a day to stay healthy and a woman around 2000 calories a day. Balancing the quality of the calories is just as important as reducing the number you intake. For men maintaining muscle mass is important for self esteem so having a high protein diet helps. Its also very important to say hydrated and its recommended that you consume 3 litres of water a day. Steady exercise along with a low carb diet is the best way of losing weight. Most diets can be quite difficult and sometimes the results are slow to manifest themselves so perservere.
