It’s not easy shopping for exercise equipment. For months, I read reviews on fitness equipment products and tried out various models in my local sporting goods stores. I started out with elliptical trainers, and then moved on to treadmills. Although ellipticals offer a good cardio workout, a treadmill is much more like normal running or walking, which I enjoy. But there are so many different treadmill brands that it was hard to narrow down my choices. There is Proform, Merit Fitness, Horizon Fitness, Nordic Track, Bowflex . . . the list goes on and on. But the one that really intrigued me was from Sole Fitness: the sole tt8 treadmill. This model offers an expanded running deck, shock absorption, and a 3.5 continuous-duty horsepower motor. While it isn’t an inexpensive machine, I managed to find it for about $500 less than the list price, with free shipping, too.
