We had turned in for the night.  We could hear crickets chirping in the woods and the distant howl of something – a coyote?  Luckily we were safely tucked inside the cabin with a roaring fire going in the fireplace.  We had food in our bellies and had just polished off a bottle of wine.  Thankfully, this time we had remembered to bring the air bed pump with us.  Our last trip to the cabin was frightfully uncomfortable sleeping on the cold, hard floor.  But, alas, this time around we would sleep in comfort.  I was blissfully dozing off to sleep, content from the day’s activities, when I heard the unmistakable hiss of air.  To be sure, the air bed had a hole, and within 30 minutes, was completely flat.
