It didn’t look scary when we first started out, but as we slowly rose above Sydney Harbour, things got decidedly frightening, especially with the strong wind – as we made our way across the curve of Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Thank goodness for our fall arrest equipment which anchored us to the bridge – otherwise this would have been truly terrifying. I will forever more admire bridge painters and maintenance crew as they have to do this kind of thing everyday. It’s not something I could get used to but I’m glad for the experience even though it didn’t cure my fear of heights.
