The solid bunk beds that the military brass purchased for marine barracks 201 were as sturdy as steel. Colonel O’Neil inspected the new beds one by one. “These beds look expensive.” the Colonel remarked to his subordinate. “No sir, they’re not. They’re standard issue military grade bunk beds. They cost the same as the commercial models.” The orderly replied. “Very well, ensure that these beds get to 201 asap.” the Colonel said. “The marines there are having sleepless nights with all these night time raids that the Afghans are doing.” “Yes sir, I’ll see to it personally.” replied the orderly.
