I have a lot of work in my home and architectural detail put there by artisans. Anyone can go to a big-box store and purchase their molding and tiles and hardware and other details. But then pretty soon every one’s home starts looking so much alike. How boring. I have artisan tiles in my bathroom, my kitchen. My foyer and my garden. I wish I could find 10 more spots for it. In the past I have purchased artisan contractors insurance because even though I love this stuff it can be very expensive to replace if something gets damaged. Thankfully I’ve never had to take advantage of it but one time, a neighbor did and thank goodness they had it.
