My husband and I recently had to drop our health insurance. When the insurance began to cost more than our mortgage payment, we could not swing both. Now we are hoping we can find a catastrophic plan at a reasonable price. It may not be easy as even those seem to be ridiculously high right now, but we are doing the best we can. First I lost my job last year and then, right as I got another one, my husband lost his. Although we are both back at work now, money is still very tight as we try to catch up from then.
