Do you want to know the statistics for Divorce in Austin? According to recent surveys and studies, 50% of marriages end in divorce. How it is computed is quite vague since you are unsure if 2nd, 3rd and 4th marriages are included in the equation.  Sad to note really as I am a firm believer of the sanctity of marriage and does not believe that divorce is the solution to problems. Marriage should never be taken lightly and all solutions should be tried and tested before you bring out the lawyers. What saddens me more is that in the same survey, lower-income and less educated couples have higher divorce rates than people who earn college degrees.
