like most people, if I hear about a new food or supplement I go to my trusty old firefox or chrome browser windows (and once in a while safari) and matriculate over to google and ask. When I wanted to learn about acai, I simply went to google and typed in health benefits of acai. The trick here is to ignore all the sponsored listings. My personal preference is to also ignore Wikipedia listings because they tend to get messed up frequently when it’s a popular product. One of the cool things about acai that most people don’t know is how it actually has a very high fat content. Most fruits are mostly fructose (sugar) – acai has a lot of fat, a little sugar, and actually has a fairly high protein composition as well.
