The moment healthcare professionals hear about the prospect of becoming a Per diem nurse, they get worried about job security. To a certain extent, this worry is valid, because as a Per diem nurse, you don’t normally work with one clinic as such. A Per Diem Nursing Job would require you to spend some hours in a week in each hospital you have enrolled to work with. In simple terms, a Per diem nurse would be on a contract basis with the healthcare setting and obviously, this would mean that the benefits for staff provided by the healthcare setting may no longer be valid anyways.
