Social networking is one of those things that started out as a fad, but managed to integrate into the daily lives of countless people all over the world. Now we have reached the point where many of those people simply wouldn’t know what to do with themselves if they aren’t updating status messages, or posting Tweets about their activities. Thanks to the WiFi capabilities standard in most laptops, these people never have to leave their social networks behind again.
Wherever you go, it seems you can spot people behind their laptops and on their favorite social networks. Some people even believe that email is going to be a defunct service soon because so many people are just communicating on these networks. And as laptops continue to get lighter, faster, and more affordable, we are going to see even more of this behavior.
